My recent stay at Museumzicht provided just that, nestled in the vibrant heart of Amsterdam near the Rijksmuseum. The charming lounge, with its large windows overlooking the museum gardens, became my refuge each morning, where I enjoyed a well-balanced breakfast. The selection was varied enough to satisfy both my craving for protein and my love for fresh, local ingredients - a vital aspect when dining on the road. Beyond the culinary offerings, the lounge served as an excellent spot for people-watching or diving into a good book from the small library available. The welcoming atmosphere allowed me to converse with fellow travelers, which is something I truly value when exploring new places. I must note the steep stairs, which might pose challenges for anyone traveling with significant luggage.
